I just received this DVD recorder for Christmas and have had no problems with it but now it won't copy some movies from cable. It says I can not copy copywrited movies. I have never has this problem before. Is there something I can do to get around this? Or do I have to buy a different DVD Recorder? I have been searching the forums for answers but it seems so overwhelming for a newbie. Thanks for any help you can give me please. Amigatu
The first problem is it's a Sony recorder. Sony is scared to death someone is going to copy a movie, which we will. LOL I'm not sure if there is a firmware hack for this or not. Hang on and someone will chime in. This forum isn't as busy as the rest of them. Also, you will get bad mouthed for multi posting to different forums about the same subject. Mike
