i have pioneer dvd burner, im using veritas record now software with dvd shrink 3.1. and these piece of sh-t fuji film dvds. when i backup some dvds it only uses about a quarter of the disc. (usually towards the inside portion of the disc) anyway theres no way that there is 4.7 gb of info on it. to boot it doesnt play. ill get like the beginning of the previews thats it. its strange because sometimes it works fine.im just sick of throwing 2.00$ dvds away.. any help would be appreciated thanks
Are you using record now for burning the files into the DVD disc? I had a similar problem with when I was using DVDXpress. For some reason the program would not use the entire disc such that the movie quality was awful. I switched to DVD Shrink for my ripping and CloneDVD for my burning and I have not had a problem since. You might want to try a different burning software like DVD Decrypter, CloneDVD or Nero.
