Please Help

I would like to know how I would be able to covert a widescreen backup DVD to fullscreen. Like when I'm doing a backup of a DVD, taking the black off the top and the bottom. Please help thanks.

 

Im not exactly sure but i think this is gotta do with the ratio e.g. 4:3, 16:9 that kinda thing. The only program that i know of that may do this TMPEGNC, here is the link.

It's shareware soo its a trial version i think...
