OK, if someone can just listen to my rundown here and see if i am missing something that would be awesome.

I downloaded hitchhikers guide and constantine using bit torrent. I extracted the .rar files and downloaded the vlc media player and they play great. i got sound, video, the works. so, now i want to burn them on to a dvd. i used isoburner to extract the 2 mpeg files from the svcd directory of the files.
then i read where i was to load the 2 mpegs in chronological order into DIVXTODVD and it would splice the two together creating a TS folder which I thought that i could then copy to a cd and bring to work to burn on a dvd (i do not have a dvd burner at home....yet). But, after creating the TS folder and opening it up i noticed the two movie files in the TS folder were only like 13 minutes long.....there were some other files in the directory but none recognizable by my noobness. Is this correct???
I read elsewhere that i could just burn the mpegs directly to a dvd. Is this correct???? I guess i could use some help to see if i am on the right path here so i can get something correctly copied to a disk before bringing it to work to try to burn on to a dvd.

I have also downloaded the following programs if they help any:
    DIVXTODVD
    SVCDTODVD
    alcohol 120%
    ISOBURNER
    VLC MEDIA PLAYER

To whatever good soul takes the time to help me......i really really appreciate it

@yanker - have you still got the TS folder on your hard disc ?.

if so right click on the folder and do 'properties'. How big is the folder. Where i'm going with this, is that you say you put the 2 films on a CD first. So that means the 2 files must total a maximum of 700MB on the CD as that's all it can hold (unless it's a 90min CD but i digress!). I'm assuming you didn't see a disc full error when copying to that CD so i guess you need to look at how big the TS folder is and work back from there...
