please recommend me a fast hardrive to buy for capturing

    i can capture at mo with my harddrive but drop frames when it comes to capturing at 768 576 res and even at 640 480 so i think its time for another drive so can ne one recommend a fat speed hard drive i can get also will my pc have both drives on it at once and how will it for instance when i click on my computer will another drive appear there and when i wanna capture i just save it to that drive thanks.

    well can ne any1 advise me also a dvd writer for around £150 preferbly external ive seen this pioneer 4x duall format one thats external and internal so what advice can ne 1 give me please.

    MY ADVICE WOULD BE TO GET A RAID CONTROLLER FOR YOUR MOTHERBOARD AND GET TWO HD'S THAT ARE EXACTLY THE SAME AND SET THE UP ON RAID 0. That is what I do. This increases the bandwidth and performance. Raid 0 is best for video editing and things of that nature! Good luck!
