well i've had about a 60% success rate with aprox. 20 DL copies. Is that normal? Any way i can increase the success rate? This is using dvd decrypter to copy and burn. Seems nobody can answer this question. Help please! these coasters are getting expensive
What speed are you trying to burn them at? I've burnt many Verbatim DL media with a 100% success rate but I never tried that plextor drive. I've used the plextor 716A & Pioneer A09. Is this a problem with DL only or have you had an problems with -or+R media also? You shouldn't have any problems burning ISO images with decrypter. Do you have any other applications running while you are burning and what is your primary IDE channel transfer mode set on? It should be set on DMA if available.
burning them at max (averages out to 6x). This only happens with the DL disks. I even went out and bought some GQ media from frys (both + and -) and they burned fine. I have absolutely no programs running in the background. And yes it is set to dma
