I just got my new PX-716A and it just dawned on me that I havn't seen anywhere that theres a way to set the booktype on dvd+r's. My stand-alone will only play +r's if the booktype is set to dvd-rom. I didn't think to check before the purchase. I guess I just assumed that a Plextor would support it. Another reason I bought it was I read about "Secure Recording" where you can password protect your disks. It wasn't until I got deep into the manual that I found out it only works on cd-r's, not dvd-r's. Any help on the book setting would be appreciated. Thanks!
Open PlexTools and select the PX-716A Drive, underneath that click on Drive Settings and then go to the Advanced tab.
