pls help-how do i convert mpeg2 to vob-do i even need2?

    to alow my movies to work on the dvd player do i have to convert them back to vob files from the now ripped mpeg2 format?
    or how do i allow them to work without converting them back to their origional state(vob)?

    Assuming the MPEG2 is still in the original aspect ratio that youo ripped it, you can import the MPEG2 into an authoring program. That program then will create all the files necessary for a DVD.
    I've heard of others renaming the MPEG2 to .VOB and creating IFo wil IFOedit, but I haven't tried this yet.
