hey there people, i seriously need help with this laptop i got. It has a novelle client on that prevents me from doing anything, whenever i boot up it goes straight to the novell login and i dont know the password, a username is there though, please help me. Ive tried to contact the previous owner but it seems as if he changed his number. So can anyone help or do I must reinstall windows?
Can you boot Windows in safe mode? If so, go to Add or Remove Programs in the control panel and uninstall the Novell client. Also, you should be able to check a box on the Novell logon screen to logon locally, but it's possible that this was disabled when it was installed. This would allow you to logon to the local computer (wouldn't need a Novell server) and then you could uninstall the client following the steps above.
