i recetly bought a labtop off my friend for 40 bucks. its an ams tech, rodeo 1010cx. its got a 4 gig hd, 64 megs of ram, dvd-rom. its not badi guess, needs works. im running xp on it, sp2. xp installed the right driver i think, but i go to device manegar and it says something like "This device cannot find enough free resources to use ... " what sucks ais , the battery doest work and its gonna cost to replace it. its got 64 megs of ram but im going to upgrade. i bought it so i could use it for wireless and to watch dvds. the dvd player works , i have installed power dvd 6. but the dvds lag, like its too slow, now i think the reason why it has the dvd rom is b/c ur supposed to be able to play dvds, it wss standard on this model. can someoene try and help me find the like original "correct" drivers for this video card. its a "trident video accelerator cyber 9338". id like my 40 bucks to go far, lol. the display is awsome for an oldie. maybe once i install ram the dvds will play right, but i dunno. plse need input.
ok the recouces thing is probs it having a cry about not having enought ram the dvd lag thing is probs also about not enough ram (already being overloaded with extra things that windows has) my one sugeestion would be go to system properties the advanced tab then performance and undo all the things in the visual effects tab
you are running xp on 64megs of ram as supposedly won't install with less than 128meg. also you lost about half of your hd space to windows nevermind all the other programs. get more ram & either clean out space on your hd or get a bigger hd!!
