Pokemon Blood Diamond 1.1 how do I know?

OK, I patched the file, it runs.

Opening screen comes up as Pokemon Diamond.

I FCed the patched ROM with a standard Pokemon Diamond ROM and Bolld Diamond definitely has been altered.

I don't have a save game file for it I'm starting from scratch.

How do/will I know that I'm running Blood Diamond. that is, what will be the first encounter that will tell me that the ROM has really been patched correctly.
