Polaroid burners are rubbish...what should i exchange it for?

    I just bought a polaroid + - rw drive and the only dvd it burned so far is the ridata dvd+rw that it came with.I tried to burn sony dvd-rs and and GQ dvd-rs(i bought 2 25 packs!) and none of them worked. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should exchange it for?? I read that the Pioneer Ao6 works with any brand of blank dvds. any suggesstions??? thanks for any responses

    Dump it. There's no real listing/info on it. Seems like a lot of dual format brand name drives are <$150. Get a brand name, get the Pioneer if you've heard good things about it, at least folks will be able to answer questions about it. What ever drive you get there will be certain discs that work better than others. Find a manufacturer and stick with it.
