Can anyone tell me why when i join to halfs of a film together, where the actual join is, i get like a poping noise or a sort of a squeel only for like a second or two..but it's really annoying. i have tryed joined a number of films together and it happens on every one of them. am i doing something wrong? i am using AVI/MPEG/RM/WMV joiner v4.61 Thanks Gymrat
hi all drop the mpegs (not jioned) into tmpgenc dvd author say 3 of them which also gives you 3 chapter pionts! then output vobs for burning to dvd-r you can also use the cutter to make sure theres no overlap! i have used this! works good! Thx...
This Popping sound is caused from Joining files were the Join Point is Part way through a Gop...This also happens with the Merge & Cut in tmpgenc...If you cut a few frames off the end of file #1 and a Few frames off the beginning of File#2 and then join them the Popping should should go away ...Or you can get a Frame accurate Mpeg editor Like "Mpeg2VCR" which is one of the best Mpeg editors out there...If you message me with your e-mail i"ll send it to you...Cheers
hi all this "Mpeg2VCR" proggy seems a good one next time i have a play i will give it a go! how ig a download is it minion? Thx...
Hi what i forgot to say was that the files i am joining with the noise are xvid not mpeg..sorry i should have mentioned that.
Sory I thought they were Mpeg files...What did you use to join the 2 files that gave the Popping noise?? Have you tried Virtual-Dub, It is easy to use and freeware...
