I found a cool portable Linux OS that we can use without rebooting to a live cd and so fourth. its limited to what it does but still very cool. The zip is 438mb but once its extracted its 1.85gb in size. We can now test Linux on our flash drives on any pc. Here is the URL to read and download. Life hacker Portable Ubuntu
As long as people don't start thinking that Linux is just another obscure Windows program, it looks ok. I doubt a lot of people would bother to stick with it when there are native Windows executables that will run faster because they're not emulating Linux, and are more familiar, but might be another way of easing people in. No substitute for the satisfaction that comes from banishing a Windows partition to the depths of hell though...
