Possible to rezise an avi?

    I have an old .avi file from a movie that turned out scrunched up, too narrow. It looks like it might have originally been a widescreen format and was forced into a letterbox size.

    Is there anyway to correct this? run it through some program to resize just the vertical but not change the horizontal? If it wasn't a near impossible to find movie, I wouldn't bother.

    Grrr... that should say "run it through some program to resize just the horizontal but not change the vertical?"

    Where's the edit button when you need one. :)
