Ok, as of right now I own an M3 DS Real with GBA and Rumble expansion packs. I've had it for over a year, and LOVE it! But now I've been trying to use the NDS Backup Tool to make backups of my own DS carts, rather than going the sketchy way of downloading (I know it's legal to own the backup, but downloading it is a bit of a grey area...).

Basically, I tried using the NDS backup tool with my M3, but the slot-2 cards don't seem to support the process (I've heard the RAM pack would, but there's little information...). So, my first question is would the EZV 3 in 1 Expansion Pack Plus work with my M3?

If not, I assume I will need a new Slot 1 card as well as the EZV. So, I would upgrade to the CycloDS (something I'm tempted to do anyway, and just sell the M3 to a friend) and this would work well with the EZV, correct?

Sorry if this is confusing, I'm trying to find the cheapest method possible to back up my own carts. Thanks!

Both the M3 RAM expansion http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.18873
    and the EZflash 3 in 1 http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2967
should work fine for what you want. I have the M3 with ram expansion but have never tested it for backing up my games.

If you're thinking about getting a new cart sometime soon though then you might want to just go with the EZflash. Since I'm not sure if the M3 expansion will work with other carts but I know the EZflash will.
