Posting a Screenshot

I tried using Imageshack.us to post a sceenshot, but it will only post a thumbnail. What am I doing wrong???

 

Could be 2 things I can think of:

A. The "resize image" box could be checked.

B. This is more complicated...

I'm assuming you're using ALT+Prnt Scrn to copy the active screen. Then you're pasting it to Microsoft Paint and saving it.

[bold]Before[/bold] you paste the image to MS Paint, try reducing the size of the "canvas" by going to the Image menu and clicking Stretch/Skew. This will change the size of the white space you're pasting to. If there's too much white space, then your images can show up really small when you save them. Since you said your images are showing up the size of thumbnails, I would change the horizontal and vertical to 20%. Once you do that you can paste your image and save it. View the image like you would any other picture to make sure it's the right size.

This might not be your answer, but it solved the problem I was having. I used Stretch/Skew in Paint a lot. So, I probably made it too big at one point, and didn't change it back. If you see any dark gray area around the white when you open up Paint, then it should be small enough. By contrast, if the scroll wheel on the side looks like it can scroll a page's length, then it's too big.

 

Thanks ashroy01, I tried with Photobucket.com and it works perfectly. So i think I'll cancel Imageshack.
