Power Calibration Error

    I have an external pioneer 106D
    and lately every time i burn something it says power calibration error and wont burn. what is the problem?
    ive been using the same media, i believe its a hardware issue.

    Have you installed the latest firmware for that drive? Power calibration errors usually mean the burner is on its way out, or the media is bad.

    I would try a different brand of media, before I gave up on the drive.

    yea had the same problem tries diferent media and ok . did you have a bad burn that stopped when this started happening

    tried this one

    DVR-106DVA - 1.10 (Sony OEM)

    and it says no target avaible when i run it
