Hi, I've been trying to create my own dvd's of home vids, but I can't get the playback to work properly. I created them in both Ulead DVD Movie Factory 3.5 and Cyberlink Power Producer, but when I play them back in Power DVD and Ulead DVD Player, they quit after a few seconds of the menu playing. If I set a motion menu to 20 seconds, it quits the playback completely after the 20 seconds, the program just closes down. A static menu just flashes up on screen and quits. However regular DVD's play fine. I've looked through all the menu's and can't see any settings that seem appropriate to this. Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem. Thanks
You may first try to play the dvd files with other media playing programs (e.g. Media Player Classic, Nero Show Time). If they all fail the same way, then maybe you should recheck the creation process, or use alternative methods for the creation.
