i have searched the forums till im dizzy and have not seen anything like this. i have a xbox soft modded the same as dozzens of otheres ive done for friends. this is a big first for me. the thing works great when it first powers up, i can play backed up games fine for hours on end then when i power down and change games it wont power back on. same thing when i have it on i can select reboot from the unleash menu and it will not power back up. after a couple of min it will power on again. one thing to note is when i turn it off and try to power it back up i can here and feel the hdd get power and run the green power light on front comes on but no video or audio. if i try with the eject button it will not open the dvd drive and the light flashes green. i hope some body has been through this and it is a easy fix but i dought it. thanks in advance for anyone that might can help. i work alot so if it takes a while to respond to any post you will now im out there busting my @ss.
well then mabey its your electricty plug..borrow another friends elctricty cord and see if that help...PAN5Y
lol c'mon man you have just insulted my intelligence. something as simple as checking a power cord? i was thinking like the video processor or or a short circuit in a tansistor. maybe someone else can help me.
lol..no i was just wondering just open your xbox and see...or u can ship in your xbox and tell 1800formyxbox to help u out they will try to fix the problem and if they dont they will replace ur xbox with a new one..
well my friend i have changed the power cord, the power supply and even , to just make sure i changed the switches on the front. i dont think ill ship it any where as a matter of fact i just had it shipped to me a few weeks ago from some poor sole on ebay, i bought a lot of 6 xboxes. 4 i repaired, i sold two of those, one was trash and this one with the problem. it would make no sence to ship it to get it fixed, ill just order a few more so called trashed xboxes
