power supply for crossfire i7 system

    hi guys im gonna be building a new system based on intels new platform, my question is this:

    what kind of power supply would i need to use 2 Hd4850s in crossfire and fuel the rest of the system any suggestions would help?

    sammorris uses a Q9550 @ 3.8 and a 4870x2 on a HX 520. so a corsair HX520W would be reccomended.

    I wouldn't actually, I'd go with the 620 - the reason for this is that the i7 uses far more power than the Q9550, more above it than the HD4870X2 does over two HD4850s (about 50W difference versus 30W difference). My 520 is pushing it with my system, a 520 with that setup would be near breaking point.
