Power surge problems !?!?! {CLOSED}

Hello,

I have 3 major things that I use n my room.
-Xbox 360
-A surround sound system of 70W
and a 19 inch Asus monitor.

Now my problem is that when I'm playing my screen just randomly shuts off but the power LED stays on and its not hibernating because if it was the LED would be orange. I have a power board but I don't think its surge protected its some shitty one for $3. I took the screen back and they tested it and it was fine, so its come down to power surges and to confirm that my speakers pop when it happens. Now I don't know how I should tackle this problem. Will one of those chunky surge protector boards solve it ? Any advice and tips would be appreciated.
