I just installed my new LG BD-R / HD DVD-ROM SuperMulti drive.
Windows (XP SP2) found it no probs, installed the drivers, asked me to reboot, did so. Next up I installed the Cyberlink Suite software that came with it (which includes PowerDVD 7.3)

Rented 2 BluRay and 1 HD-DVD (rent to get 1 free Fridays...)

Popped in the HD disc (Chronicles of Riddick) - plays fine.

    BUT...

The main reason I got this drive was to do vidcaps (video captures) - and of course ripping clips from movies for my own clip collection.

Hitting "C" to "Capture frame" *does not work*. Also, the icon for Capture frame is greyed out.

How do you do screen captures from HD movies??

Right now I'm using DVDFab HD Decrypter to rip it to hard drive and will try from there. I've also noticed that hitting "T" for single-frame-advance and "CTRL-B" to go back frame doesn't work, so I can't seem to move around frame by frame either.

    Need some advice guys!

I posted a thread awhile ago asking how to use screen capture while viewing HD/BR movies because my icon was greyed out and the "C" key did nothing, and apparently CyberLink PowerDVD Ultra does NOT allow this. So in case you're wondering how to do it, you can't.
