I've had no success with PQ DVD software. Results vary for different DVD's. Either:
    1. Loading DVD...for hours(overnight) with no outcome; or
    2. Finds DVD, but then Entering DVD Menu....for hours with no outcome; or
    3. Records a 1KB file from a 0:00:00 - 0:00:01 available DVD which is unplayable.
Never seen a preview play...the most I've got is intro music playing repetitively. Have tried all downloads & upgrades as directed in software's 'troubleshooter' but absolutely no luck. Anu suggestions?

    I answer the second question:
After entering dvd menu, you need click 'play' in the preview window.
Try to rip your dvd with cucusoft. You will find the answer maybe.

Thanks, dkmopq. I have clicked 'play' in DVD menu to try and get movie started...but cannot see any 'play' buttons in preview window (always remains black or green). And yes, am thinking about buying Cucusoft!

I would say it's the copy protection of the DVD causing problems since you have not ripped it to the HD. Unless you have something like AnyDVD running, it won't work. I could be wrong but I don't think PQ DVD circumvents DVD protection. I have AnyDVD running full time so I never notice any issues with copying DVDs. And I must say you have extreme patience to be waiting that long for results! :)

Thanks, RNF1968. I have DVD43 running, which is recommended decrypter for PQ DVD. I'll give AnyDVD a try.

RNF1968 - AnyDVD has solved the problem. Thanks for the recommendation. Gone from hating PQDVD to loving it overnight!

Good to hear!! AnyDVD hasnt failed me yet! I have tried a couple of other video to iPod converters also and I think PQ is the best. Enjoy!
