I need someone to give me (in detail) instructions on how to prepare (join, convert, encode, etc...whatever you have to do) and burn two .mpg files to a DVD+R disk. I have the two .mpg files untouched...What do I do? Please include suggestions to any software that is needed. Thanks in advance.
[bold] If the mpgs comply with your system (PAL or NTSC) no conversion is needed [/bold](PAL <-> NTSC), just 'authoring' (mpg --> .ISO (+burn) / DVD-R). Depending on the authoring application you use (I prefer DVD Lab, which allows (S)VCD to be authored on a DVD) the guides are written in: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/ [bold] DVDR: DVDR authoring and burning [/bold] Ah, remember: a good 'authoring' application does not try to convert files (like Nero does on (S)VCD movies on DVD), but just adds them in the 'DVD-compilation'. I won't be of more help, sorry...
You need a program like GSpot - load the video in GSpot and see if the framerate is 23.976, 25.00 or 29.97. If it is 25.00 it is PAL If it is 23.976 or 29.97 it is NTSC Hope this helps You can download Gspot here http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/gspot.cfm
