    Have anyone heard of this brand? Available @ RadioShack.
    What to know if this is a good buy. Another word, will it burn any Vidieo, movie and record TV's show?
    Much appreciate for any input.

    it will record TV shows YES

    WILL NOT backup store bought dvds

    where should topic go?
    I can't seem to find the right DVD recorder. I'm look'g for one that can record TVshows and burn home movie or/ other as well. I figure if there a burner that can break their fireware or the code to allow free region to record any type of movie.

    Perhaps, I'm too hopeful.

    you will need a PC ,dvd burner to do store bought dvds and the right software to backup the movies
