I am not sure if the price will drop for the 30-60GB nano, photo, or video, but the old ipods price has seemed to drop. By the way, if you are a student from grades K-Collage can get a $30 dollar discount off any ipod on the ipod store website. If you really want an ipod, just buy one now. You will be pleased.

rihgt682 - in the 30 months you have been waiting for the prices to come down, you could surely have bought yourself a brand new ipod....

But good thing is, it wouldn't be as nice as the new ones. I still don't have enough money to get a $400 ipod.

Just buy a 30GB ipod photo. they are only $300 and the memory is plenty of space unless you are an extreme music lover and you download every other song that is out there. Do not buy a ipod nano. they hold didly squat.

    Well i'm a music/movie lover, so i will be needing a 60g. I think they should sell it for $200 for 30g and $250 for 60g.

Then there would be no reason to get the shuffle, and I think $100 is a little less for Apple for a color screen and all that.

You guys are right about the prices. Ipod shuffle seems like a waste.
