Primary Audio Track

    I have a .avi file that has an Italian audio track as the primary audio, when i watch the file in VLC i can simply change the audio track to English but when i tried to put the file on DVD it is only picking up on the Italian audio. Does anyone know how I could change the primary audio track since the English track is already present?

    If you drag the avi into VirtualDubMod (not VirtualDub) and click 'Streams' you can highlight whichever one you want to be default and move it up to the top of the list.
    Do that, then click 'Video' > 'Direct Stream Copy' (because you don't want to re-encode the avi.
    Finally click 'File' and 'Save as..' avi

    Avi-Mux GUI might be able to do this also.
