When I try to burn a DVD I have made with IfoEdit it gives me an Error message after a few second and it ejects the DVD-R!!!!! Does anyone knows what the problem is ?????? I am trying to burn it without making an image.I made it by using Nero but I read that Prassi is more compatible. Thanxxxx !!!!!!!!!!!
Same thing happens to me. I don't know WTF it's problem is ;| I'm glad I'm not the only one though. I suggest using IMGTOOLS and IfoEdit to make an image and burn that with DVD Decrypter. I will try this tonite and see if I have success. Downside is you need yet another 5GB of space to burn. Nero won't even work with my A04 (crashes system when it tries to write) Here's a li'l guide: http://www.vcdhelp.com/forum/userguides/120013.php
what type of image is it?? try burning it with making an image. @d0qtrx - what other burning proggies do you have installed?
Hmmmm.... I have no problem at all using Prassi Primo for burning dvd files created with IFOEdit. A couple of things though (just in case you didn't know). Prassi *insists* that your video files be contained in a VIDEO_TS folder, and you must also burn an empty AUDIO_TS folder as well. (Just make an empty one on your HDD). Further, on rare occassions when, through stupidity on my part when *using* ifoedit (it's a tough program), I have tried to burn the folder without a proper VIDEO_TS.IFO file. (IfoEdit didn't create one). Prassi says that's a no-no. There is an option where you can turn off dvd file-checking (it examines your VIDEO_TS folder, and if it doesn't agree everything is there, it will refuse to burn), BUT if you turn it off, your resulting burn will be useless on a set top dvd player. Prassi will also burn image files, but I use DVD Decrypter for that. -- Mike --
I think i may have solved it. I authored a NEW dvd in IfoEdit, so I figured I didn't have to GEt VTS sectors. None of the guides I read mentioned it. Well, I did the get VTS and I was able to burn.
