I'm a new user to DVD Xpress. I'm able to capture, save and play from VCR, DVD etc. One of the things I had hoped to be able to do was stop video (I know how to do this) and then save a particular shot so that I can enhance, and print as a colour photo. Any suggestions. I haven't found anything in manual.
You already are onto something good. By that I mean Capture Wiz Pro. Play the video clip using any software of your choice or capture it with Capture Wiz Pro and then play it back. Pause it at the point where you want to capture that frame, then use Capture Wiz Pro to capture the page or the designated area of your choice and save it as .jpeg or .bmp,etc. Then you can use the editor in Capture Wiz Pro or open it with any editor of your choice and enhance it as you desire,save your changes and then go ahead and print it. This should work for what you have described. Post back and let me know if it works. I have never used Ulead so I can't comment about it, but if you need another video editor you can try Blaze Media Pro from www.blazemp.com. Good luck.
