printer trouble

    can anyone help computer illiterate. trying to install printer
    BROTHER-145C keep getting message HAS NOT PASSED WINDOWS LOGO TESTING TO VERIFY IT,S COMPATABILITY WITH WINDOWS XP on pressing continue anyway its asking me to insert disc which is installed anyway

    grateful for any help

    It is asking for the windows disk? If it is, and you don't have it, the files are probably located at c:\i386.
