I just recently reformatted my computer for various reasons... mainly because who I got the computer from had put on a ripped verison of XP pro and I had no key and and the windows validation stuff was getting QUITE annoying. But I have a legit XP home edition that I wanted to put on instead.

This isn't the first time i've done a reformat, but I need help this time lol. After everything was all done and looked all great I try to go online and nothing..... so I poke around the computer and check out the device manager, and I think it was there that it said "no ethernet detected". And.. I don't know why! I haven't come across this problem before, and it was all working before I did the reformat.

If anyone knows what the problems is... or has any suggestions as to what it could be, it would be greatly appreciated!)

You need the drivers for your mother board. Do you still have the driver cd that came with your mother board? if not then I would go to to manufactures web site and grab them.
