hi i have a video sitting around and i wanted to burn it to dvd but for some reason it wont burn and it is already mpeg2 i have tried to re-endoce it but nothing works i have tried tmpgenc virtual dub and the video does not load altogether both programs say file unsupprted i think that the source of this problem is the audio becuase none of the programs i have tried work the audoi is in some unrecogniseable file? i have also tried to encode them back to avi that was a faliure to? if i could have any help to encode this to mpeg2 again or somehow make it burn to my dvd-r that would be great.

    hi newbiee
ok it was late when i read your thread.
If it is already an mpeg2 then you need a dvd authoring program like TMPGEnc dvd author, trial version available:http://www.pegasys-inc.com/
    dvd author guide:http://www.dvd-guides.com/guides.php?category=dvdauthor&name=tmpegencdvdauthor
