I have a LG GSA-4120B DVD burner, running windows 2k, I made an ISO with Decrypter and I can burn it fine to a TDK +RW I have, but when I try and burn to a TDK -R it doesn't work. Tried with 7 CD's now and I'm 0-7. I'm not sure if it's the burner or just crap media? Any help is appreciated. I'm fairly new to burning. The error I get in Decrypter is E 01:20:18 Failed to Write Sectors 0 - 15 - The semaphore timeout period has expired. In Alcohol 120 I get an error as well 01:26:53 (I HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4120B(USB:0) - [Write ERROR] LBA: 16, Length: 16 S:KEY - 05/30/05 - "Cannot Write Medium - Incompatible Format" 01:26:53 (I HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4120B(USB:0): Recording failed! 01:26:53 Error message: [05/30/05] - Cannot Write Medium - Incompatible Format 01:26:53 (I HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4120B(USB:0): Simulated recording failed!
Your DVD burner may only support + media. Some burners only record +, some only record -, some record +/-.
