I've followed every guide possible on here, but I still can't get my problem resolved. I first used DVDShrink and tried both, create an .iso file as well as create the video and audio files to my hard drive. But when I go to burn them using Nero as well as .imgburn I keep getting an error. I'm using DVD+R media (HP). Here is the error log I get from NERO:

    "write error
    e:tsstcorp cddvdw ts-h652h
    generating dvd high compatibility borders
    illegal disc
    e:tsstcorp cddvdw ts-h652h
could not perform end of disc-at-once
burn process failed at 18x (have tried at lower speed as well)"

Any help would be much appreciated and I promised I used the search engine serveral times :)

And this is also the error I get when I use IMGBURN:

    "I/O Error!
    device: [0:0:0] tsstcorp CDDVDW TS-H652H GA00 (E:) (ATA)
    ScsiStatus: 0x02
    Interpretation: check condition
    cdb: 2a 00 00 00 00 a0 00 00 20 00
    interpretation: write (10) - sectors: 160 - 191
    Sense Area: 71 00 03 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 0C 00 00 00 00 00 00
    00 00 00 00
    Inerpretation: Write Error"

I have no clue what any of that means

Ditch the Memorex and get some Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media. Might also check your drives manufacturer website for a firmware update...after a short search I could find one though.

I also edited out the other logs and left the pertinant one.

Thanks really appreciate it. I'm using HP brand media, it worked when I use 1Click DVD Copy, but i'll get new media just in case. I'll post after I try what you've mentioned. Thanks a bunch.

You should probably hang around 8X-12X until you get good consistent burns too and if the new media doesn't do the trick you can still use them with the other programs.

Okay, I brought SONY DVD+R, which seemed to be the best brand available at Wal-Mart and I've searched Samgsungs website up and down and did not find a firmware update for my burner. Any suggestions?

So the Sony's were a no go then? The TSST drives can be hard to find firmware for, they aren't supported very well.

Isn't this file a little too big ? Shrink shrinks it to 4464 mb and I found using custom setting of 4300 mb seems to work better at the end of burns. Anyone else think so ?
Are you using something to compress file to fit on single layer DVD ?

Yeah the Sony DVD+R didn't work either. I pretty much just followed the "Scubba Pete" DVD Shrink guide, even using NERO to copy the files. I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong.

Did you use Shrink to rip the movie ? If so do you still have the original disc. If you do rip it with DVD Fab decrypter from here >
    http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm
Then use Shrink and burn with Imgburn

Thanks! I'll try it ASAP and hopefully this will do the trick.
