Hi, I'm not sure where to post this but anyways.. I recently modded my xbox and I'm now trying to install the evolutionX dashboard. Everything has gone well sofar except the damn FTP into the xbox. I don't know where the problem is and I've tried smartFTP and FlashFXP but none works. Both programs give the message that they have connected to the xbox IP 192.168.0.2 but then SmartFTP says something about the xbox vutting off the connection and FlashFXP just sais connection lost. I have changed my IP on my laptop to 192.168.0.1 according to the evox.ini file and the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 as I've read in every manual but it still doesen't work. I would appreciate some help ASAP, because I'm eager to get this thing up and running.
Have to add as I just studied the message that SmartFTP gives when it loses connection. It says "connection reset by software in target machine" or something like that.
I got it to work in some mysterious way.. I'm happy, it works like a charm now with evox and media center and farcry and everything =)
