I've created the C E F folders on my new HD but when I try to lock it with xboxhdm it tells me cannot lock drive is frozen try to disable primary ide channel in pc bios menu I've gone to the bios menu and can't find this option I have a gateway 840gm w/dual core processors if anyone can help thanks

I've checked on the site and model # 6L250R0 and people have been able to lock this drive do I just need to use a different PC with the option to diable the autodetect hardware option and turn that off another question if I had created the C E F drives they are still there right I just to lock it correct
hi, unfortunatly i have the same problem with the same hard drive......i am absolutely sure i have set the drive up properly...and i have the right password......liveinfo says the drive is lockable...so does unlockx and lockhd i have tried with an older comp and on that comp i also tried with lockhd on a floppy....i am losing my mind....and alot of sleep
