Problem opening DivX Author

    Hello, I've used DivX Author as recently as last week, and now, when I attempt to open it, nothing happens! The computer acts as if it's about to open the program, and then goes along its merry way without initializing it. This is also the case with TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress, so I'm thinking it's related.

    Has this happened to anyone else, and were you able to rectify it? How so?

    Start off with some standard troubleshooting techniques and see
    what turns up.
    Do a full virus scan+malware scan, then do a memory test.
