Hey, was wondering if anyone could help me,I've had my tt card for about a year now and only recently i've not been able to downnload any new games. If I download them they're usually in .rar format and so i use the winrar application, this cleared up the format problem i had, but then when i transferred the files to the card, the games registered on the screen but when they were loading up, every one of them stops at different points on the loading bar and a big black and white message comes up sayin: " [Rom loading failed] load rom errcode=-7 please reset system" Is there something I'm doing wrong or how can I fix this?
Thanks a million, but one more question, i'm still fairly new to the whole updating hardware game, do i just tranfer the whole file onto the card?
Download and unzip. This will give you one, or a number of files transfer them all to the card overwriting your existing files. If the card hangs after this you will have to reformat and reload everything back on
i put all my games in a folder called games, download extract 1.17 from www.ndstt.com in that extracted folder is another folder called eng open that, there should be menu.dat file ttmenu system file and a folder called TTMENU drag and drop them to the micro sd card and do not put them in a folder its called leaving them on the root of the card, put the file with .sav .nds .arp at the end of the file name in a folder call it games (right click on an empty space on the micro sd window and make new folder calling it games).nds is the game .sav is the save file your progress .arp is the action replay cheat file. and the error code you have i changed the firmware to 1.17 cured a few the ones it did not got the games from another site, deleted the .nds .sav .arp files to go with that game in the games folder and reinstalled it only one that don't work on 1.17 is star wars clone wars when in the folder click view on the top arrange by choose name it sorts all the games out and bunches the .nds .arp .sav files for the same game together so easier to find all files for the same game. arm7 and arm9 will help you with the one game i mentioned although that's beyond my scope i didnt get it

hi i'm kinda new to the nds tt cards. my sister downloaded a game (imagine journalist)and when ever she loaded the rom it says: [Rom Loadng Failed] Load rom errcode=-4 Please reset system i tried to fix it myself but i couldn't, i also made sure it was a nds file. i also have the tt card V1.17(the latest). if you can help me i would really appriciate it thnx.
newest fimware 1.17a07 its either a bad rom redownload or bad/incompatible firmware try usa and europe version, different site even, quick question you did add the ,nds file to the micro sd card extracted via winrar?
i extracted the game onto my desktop and the copied the nds file into the micro sd card and i'll try the the other version thnx
