Problem playing movie to computer

    I have my TV connected to my video card and can see the Desktop on the TV but when I open a movie with Windows Media Player I can see the Media Player but cannt see the picture it is playing. I can see the movie on the computer screen ok. Any ideas??

    Sounds like a video overlay issue. Fixing it would depend somewhat on what video card you have, but enabling overlay for the 2nd display or something like that should fix it.
