After much cfw action on the psp I got a ds for a bit of variety - together with an R4. I would like to use the ds in much the same way as the psp - for games, music, video, homebrew apps etc. No problems initially - copied over the operating files to the micro sd after downloading them from the website (the latest version, 1.18) and then put some roms in a folder I created and called "NDS roms". They showed up and played fine. All good. However, I created folders for "music" and "video" and put mp3 files and .dpg files in each respectively. When I open moonshell from the main menu I see it execute some script and an error occurs but then seems to sort itself out. I can see the folders I created but not the contents. I've tried placing the folders in the root and also inside the moonshell folder, but still no joy. Any suggestions on where I'm going wrong? R Ps - I used dvd fab to convert the video files.
Hey kingrico I am having exactly the same problem with music files ,its doing my head in, if anyone out there can solve these probs it would be great, thanks yettibe
Sorted it! When I right clicked on the card and selected "properties" my empty 2Gb card was showing half full(!). So I used Swissknife (http://www.download32.com/compuapps-swissknife-v3-d30077.html) to reformat. This gave me my extra gig back and when I tried playing music and video through Moonshell afterwards it worked. BTW, the card was a brand new out of the box Kingston. Maybe try that yettibe? It only takes a few minutes to download and use swissknife. All the best, R
