I just purchased a Toshiba portable dvd player (SD-P1850) which supports Divx. It worked great with my normal Dvds, but when I loaded up some .avi's, it would only play them all stretched out in a widescreen format when the files should play in 4:3. I followed the instructions on how to squash the ratio back to 4:3, but it didn't work. I trouble shooted by loading up a regular DVD that needs to be played in 4:3, and it did allow me to set the ratio to 3:4. Anyone else run into this problem? Thanks.
I have the same problem with jpeg pictures - they do not display in a 4:3 format - everything is streched - tried to adjust screen with the picture button - won't work. Anybody else having the same problem?
