Even though it seems that it should be relatively simple to put videos on DVD to watch in my DVD player, it has given me no end of trouble. I understand ISOs. I can backup DVDs with no problem. But when we get into the different video types that need to be converted to this and that, it just kills me. I've got Nero 6 and it doesn't seem like I should need anything else.

I try to use the VCD creater. I add the video file(s) and make my pretty little menu and it burns the majority of the way before telling me it's encountered some bogus error.

And as far as what type of videos I have, I'm clueless. I don't know what's wrong with most of my video files but they're just recognized as "Video Clip" or "Movie Clip". I have some WMVs but that's it. Whenever I try to open some AVI/MPG/?/WMV to WMV/?/MPG/AVI converter, it doesn't support my Movie/Video clips.
