i am trying to make a back up copy of Resident Evil and am having the hardest time trying to make my back up copy, can anyone help? I read some post and downloaded DVD43, which opens up in background and goes thru the process of taking out the encryption, then I go to dvd shrink open up my DVD, then do a back up. Everything seems to go like it should, except after it completes the back up, shrink does not open so that I could put a blank dvd in my external drive. It tells me that copies have been stored on my hard drive. So that is why I also have to use dvd decrypter to try to write the file to a dvd. Once I try to copy to dvd decrypter I get a error (sorry did not get exact error code, I will try it again to get error and post it later), the error states that media not ready or something like that, once I cancel the error message the strange thing is that decrypter copies the whole movie onto the dvd disc. But when I try to play the movie there is nothing on the disc.Can any one help me make a back up movie of Resident evil. Thanks and sorry for not writing error code. Sg
Rip the movie with Decrypter, don't run dvd43 in the backround. Compress with Shrink, creating an ISO image, then burn the image with Decrypter. What do you normaly burn with, Nero?
Yes, I usually burn with Nero, however i did finally figure it out and backed up the movie. Thanks again
