I have a marantz pm-66se amp. I turned it on last night along with the cd player and although the power light on the amp was on and the cd was playing i was getting no sound. The same applies when i switch to the tuner. Before when turning on the amp there was a click as it activated. I have noticed that this no longer happens.
    Any advice anyone? Thanks

Check the tape monitor switch or line/source switch.. nobody ever touches those yeah??

Otherwise it sounds like there is something wrong in the output stages. The click is the speaker protection relay switching after the protection circuit says everything is ok. Have a look for either shorts in your speaker cables or check inside for speaker fuses which may be blown. Otherwise seek professional repair services otherwise you could cause very very expensive damage. Ask for an estimate or quote before agreeing to a repair.. amps are cheap.. output devices are not!! ;)
