First time posting to this site,but ive been lurking for a while. Anyway, I cant seem to copy the new version of casino.Ive tried dvdshrink+decrypter,shrink+anydvd,anydvd+clonedvd and no luck.The same thing always happens,it stops at around 50% and gives the cyclic redundancy error.Which usually means the disc is dirty but I just bought the disc so its in pristine condition. Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated.
CRC errors 99% of the time are because the disk is scratched, smudged or has an imperfection. The disk you have may be new, but it can also be a badly pressed disk. You can try cleaning it, or take it back and say that it just does not play on your standalone. You can also try this guide for hard to rip disks. http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/petesguide9.html
thanks for the help, cleaned the disc and it burned with no problem. amazing how not thinking of the most simple answer can cost you hours of time and a throbbing headache.once again,thanks for solving my lil problem.
