Problem with digital driver signiature

    Ive just built a new pc (everything's new right down to the case except dvd drive and a 80gb IDE drive from my old pc) and i was trying to install windows xp but it kept on giving me hassle, always right at the end of the installation (finalizing setup) and at first i thought it could be the memory or something but i got memtest and made a boot disk to test it...no problems there. next thing i did was download a bootable linux (knoppix) which all loaded up and worked fine and i thought id get general system diagnostic software which showed no faults. next thing i tried was to put my old hard drive in with windows already installed and booted it up. it worked fine apart from the obvious recognition and installation of new hardware. but i wouldnt mind a fresh installation of windows xp. so now ive put vista onto it (and the only way i could install that all the way is because it gave me the option to temporarily disable driver signiature enforcement) but now 9 times out of 10 when booting up i still get a driver signiature error message and have to go through a special menu to disable driver signiature enforcement and i still cant install windows xp (which i would prefer to have)

    most of the time the error comes up and tells me about the driver signiature problem and most but not all of the time it says there is a problem with the ntoskrnl.exe file...

    but once i get into windows or any operating system it works absolutely fine no problems at all and everything running at full speed.....

    ....

    lol...schoolboy error i know...im only using it for the keyboard because the last one i had broke and this was all that was lying around. i use a usb mouse tho...but in all fairness i used it with my last pc and no problems so i doubt that is my problem...
