Hello everybody! Sorry if it's an off-top. Well here's the problem: I have DVD-RW NEC ND-3540A. One day I inserted in it a 2-region (japanese) DVD (it was the first region-protected DVD I inserted in my NEC). The region of my NEC was set to 2nd region. And after that I started having problems with image while I play DVDs (even multi-region and 2nd region). And my NEC refuses to read any CD media. Maybe somebody has any ideas how to fix that problems? Specially the 2nd one? Thank you!
Have you reverted your drive back to the former region yet? Or do you want it in region 2? An idea for you might be to flash your drive with region free firmware, so it can read any region disc. What version is your current firmware? You can find this out with Nero Info Tool (search for it here) or a similar app.
