I have some files on a Floppy Disc that i need to access but i cannot access them. I'm using windows xp. I have no idea how this disc was formatted before the files were put onto them. It says the file system is raw and that nothing is on the disc. However, there are files on the disc. This is what it says when i try to open the Floppy:
The Disc in Drive A is not Formatted
Do you want to Format it now?

Anyone know how i can fix it without losing the files i have on the disc.

all floppy drives have heads. if you were to look inside the drive past the spin platform, you'll see 2 creme colored box shaped objects, 1 for top & bottom. those are the heads that read & write to the disk
