Right i installed goldeneye on my xbox a few weeks back and deleted it not long after. (was just trying new things lol) and i put scarface on there straight after. now when i go to my games section the goldeneye picture/icon is still there even to its scarface thats there and this prevents me from using a trainer.. so my xbox thinks its goldeneye whereas its actually scarface. ive taken it off my hdd three times and reinstalled it and the same thing comes up.. is there any data i need to delete like in UDATA or something.. any help is really appreciated.. all i want is a lil extra money for scarface so i can buy the last exotics that cost $40mil+ lmao Cheers
Delete the gamesave of golden eye. That's weird, that shouldn't happen. It seems that the default.xbe of scarface belongs to golden eye, you must of copy them and switched them. Go to your game saves manager from your dashboard. If you are using Evox use the MS Dash and remove the golden eye game save and see if that does the trick.
You empty out the Cache, (don't delete the entire folder only its contents) to correct gameplay problems. You should clean it often before you play any game.
i turnt off my xectuer chip and went into my xbox's memory and deleted the goldeneye save game.. it didnt change anything! i also deleted the goldeneye thumbnail pic so now the actual scarface thumbnail pic now comes up in the games section.. but still the trainer will not work with it (also i do have three trainers for it and i have tried each and every one seperately and still nothing..!) it definately is weird! It's either the disc you used to copy from was a bad recording, or when you backed up those two games you must of switched the default.xbe files. Its happened to me before.
Transfer the default.xbe files of both games into the xbox. The dash will detect them and based on the icon, on screen determine which xbe is which. Once you discover that, transfer it into the appropriate game folder. Make a backup of both xbe file to avoid overwriting them by accident.
